Make sure “Remind Me” is enabled in ShelfNote Settings and notification permission is allowed under iOS Settings > Notifications > ShelfNote. Reminders are created only for items that exceed your chosen waiting period.

The ShelfNote developer does not collect personal data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, location information, or contact details through the app. There is no account creation or sign-in.

Item titles, categories, label layouts, completion dates, optional notes, service preferences, and reminder settings are stored locally on your device. This information is not sent to servers operated by the ShelfNote developer.

Shelf reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device when you grant permission. Notification content and timing are processed on-device without being sent to a third-party server. You can disable notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

ShelfNote can open music, podcast, and game services based on your selection, and can start web searches for films, TV shows, and books. These links open only when you tap them. Any app or website you open is governed by its own privacy policy and terms.

ShelfNote does not provide its own cloud-sync service. Apple’s backup or restore features for your iPhone may include local app data. Those processes are managed by Apple.

You can delete items inside the app. Removing ShelfNote from your device also removes local ShelfNote data on that device. The developer does not hold a user account or server record that can be remotely deleted.

ShelfNote does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal data from any user, no separate personal profile is created for children.
